I’m Breakthrough Physiological Therapy Lisa A. Vecchione, a licensed Therapist based in Commack, NY - I have always been a compassionate person and a champion for the underdog. We learn many things in school, but compassion, empathy and integrity cannot be taught. You either have it or you don't. This is the cornerstone of all I do. As a therapist I ask for honesty, because nothing "real" can be accomplished without it. I provide a judgement free and safe place where honesty can flow on both ends. At the core of my belief system I embrace the old adage that truth sets you free. Creating a change in life starts with one small step in the right direction followed by another. Just like C.S. Lewis said, "Getting over a painful experience is much like crossing monkey bars. You have to let go at some point in order to move forward."
